Rebecca Eve Baruc lights up in settings that cultivate cultures of liberation, take creative risks, and archive contemporary American culture.
Eve is a multi-faceted and adaptable Arts Producer, Curator, Educator and Artist with 10+ years experience in delivering impactful and transformative programming to diverse audiences. She's highly organized, passionate and collaborative in service of building more equitable and humane communities through the Humanities and Arts.
Her visual arts training began at age eleven in the classical tradition of oils, watercolors and pastels with artist Barbara Herzberg. She received her BFA in American Studies and minored in Studio Art from Skidmore College, where she also produced the National College Comedy Festival. Other schools of art study include the Art Students League of New York, The Glasgow School of Art, and The Chicago Mosaic School. She is currently getting her Masters of Fine Arts at the School of Visual Arts in New York.
Professional experiences include David Wallace Haskins Studio,The Den Theatre, Uncommon Ground, Haymarket Books, Bruce Mau's Massive Change Network, The Chicago High School for the Arts, and Chicago Public School's Department of Arts Education.
